Anchorstone buying guide
Before you inspect a used crane
Prepare a machine-specific review before discussing the purchase.
Identify the machine
Ask for the Stock ID, model suffix, year and readable nameplate photographs. Match the machine shown in the photographs and videos to the equipment described in the quotation. Keep a dated copy of the information supplied.
Request current evidence
Request current walkaround images, visible wear and leak details, available maintenance records and operating footage. A video cannot replace a physical inspection. Agree inspection access and engage a competent inspector for technical assessment.
Record open questions
List defects, missing information and any work proposed before collection. Confirm who performs and pays for each agreed item. Retain the inspection findings and the final supplied-equipment list alongside the quotation.
General purchasing guidance. Confirm the details for the individual machine and destination.
